This handy tool helps you align the eye of your needle exactly the way you want it.

1. Attach Magnet to groove on front of needle (which is effectively flat and locks the magnet into place)
2. The magnet gives a visual for the direction the eye of your needle is pointing. Rotate needle to desired position and tighten down. 

This makes it very easy to determine the orientation of the eye of your needles.
