Free Motion Quilting

Designed for beginners, this class will not only help you get over your initial con- cerns about quilting your projects, but will also educate you on choosing the correct batting, thread and needles and help you see the difference your choices will make. The goal is to enjoy free motion quilting and have fun! Students will be requested to familiarize themselves with set- ting up their machines for free motion quilting prior to attending the class. Easter Garden Table

runner for the Easter Season. A white or chocolate rabbit sits in a garden with appliqu? eggs and tulips, and embroidered lillies. As a bonus, the pattern in- cludes custom quilting designs that customers can use to complete the table runner after it has been assembled. There are 5 appliqu? trapunto designs, 1 embroidery design (tulip), and 5 custom quilting designs, for a total of 11 embroidery files. Required stitch field is 6.5 x 8.5 inches (170 x 220 mm), and the project 11.5 x 36 inches when finished. Course Level: Confident Beginner

Beginner Quilting

You will be introduced to the "language" of quilting as well as basic quilting skills such as preparing your fabric, accurate rotary cutting, finding a perfect scant 1/4" seam on your machine, strip piecing, matching seams, pressing techniques, squaring up your blocks, adding borders, quilting your quilt and finishing it with binding.
